Mangrove Matters PH
We are a youth-led environmental organization that mainstreams marine conservation, with a primary focus on mangrove forests and their inhabitants, and coastal communities who are among the most vulnerable to the effects of the climate crisis.
Through advocacy, science communication, policy lobbying, and nature-based solutions, we work to raise awareness and take concrete steps to promote the sustainable management of these invaluable natural resources.
Our mission is to mainstream mangrove conservation in the Philippines; engage the youth in global and local environmental awareness; and provide nature-based solutions such as mangrove planting initiatives and mangrove nursery managements to restore mangrove forests, and combat the climate crisis.
Our vision is to become the Philippines' foremost youth-led organization dedicated to mangrove conservation through science communication, research, advocacy, and community engagement, striving for a sustainable and resilient future.
