Hillary, also known as “Ely,” is a Food Science undergraduate at De La Salle University, exploring the intersection of food chemistry and pharmacological applications. Her work focuses on identifying bioactive compounds in natural bio-resources to develop sustainable, health-oriented solutions.
Beyond the laboratory, Ely is a passionate conservation advocate leading grassroots initiatives in ecosystem restoration and biodiversity. By integrating rigorous chemical inquiry with community-based advocacy, she bridges the gap between bench-top research and real-world environmental impact.
Outside of her academic and advocacy pursuits, Ely is also an artist who expresses her creativity through singing, dancing, acting, and playing various musical instruments.
