Bernard John Prodenciado

Secretariat Officer

Also known as Alexis, he is a mangrove botanist from the University of Santo Tomas. His undergraduate research focused on the diversity and health assessment of mangrove forests, earning first place in an e-poster competition. He is currently pursuing an MS in Biology at the University of Santo Tomas, where his research focuses on the functional diversity of mangroves.

Beyond mangrove ecology, his interests extend to water quality monitoring and the spatiotemporal analysis of aquatic ecosystems. Outside of research, you'll probably find him playing Pokémon—a lifelong fan who believes that every great adventure begins with curiosity.
