Mangrove Matters PH has consistently advocated for mangrove protection and the rights of fisherfolk communities. In one joint statement, the organization opposed the proposed Aerotropolis project in Bulacan, warning of its potential to destroy coastal habitats, displace communities, and undermine the livelihoods and food security of local residents.
